Epilogium is an AI-assisted autobiography writing platform that helps users write, preserve, and share their life stories. We offer both free and paid subscription tiers with varying features.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one account.

4. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create on Epilogium. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing our service.

You agree not to upload content that:

  • Violates any applicable laws
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains malicious code or harmful content
  • Harasses, threatens, or defames others

5. Subscription and Payments

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the current rate.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

6. AI Features

Our AI-powered features are designed to assist your writing, not replace it. Please note:

  • AI suggestions are just that—suggestions. You have final control over your content.
  • AI features may occasionally produce unexpected or imperfect results.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of AI-generated content.
  • Your content processed by AI features is not used to train AI models.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service
  • Use automated systems to access the service without permission
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your content will be deleted according to our data retention policy.

9. Disclaimers

Epilogium is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss of data or content, though we take reasonable measures to prevent such loss.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epilogium shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
